The Salvation Army of Marion Polk Counties took their EMK (Emergency Mobile Kitchen) to feed the construction workers at the Kroc site on July 3rd.
It turned into a real event when Mayor Janet Taylor stopped by to thank the workers for all of their hard work. And Philanthropist Gerry Frank, Executive Committee Chair thanked them on behalf of the Kroc Committee and donors. In addition, Gerry Frank received a $25,000 donation from Ken Jundt of the West Coast Bank to go towards construction of this state-of-the art facility.
The West Coast Bank is well-known for its community involvement wherever they are located. We want to thank them for helping us build TSA Kroc Corps Community Center of Salem.
