I have had over ten years of experience in the fitness industry and it all started with my own struggles with weight. After having my first child, it was becoming more of a challenge to stay at a healthy weight. I soon realized that exercise was the answer for me, and soon after, I started teaching Group Exercise classes. I later became a certifed Personal Trainer and began helping others on their own journeys of health and wellness. In 2003, I began working at Clubsport Oregon as a Mature Adult Program Director and Trainer. I worked closely with physical therapists, chiropractors and sports specifc trainers and gained important knowledge to help my clients reach their goals safely and effectively.

I am now teaching Power, Yoga/Pilates Flow, 20/20/20 and Step classes here at the Kroc and am enjoying helping my clients with their weight loss and fitness goals. I believe that every person is unique with their own set of challenges and it takes a balance of life to make long-lasting results.

Hi, my name is Joshua Clarke, I have been involved in exercise my entire life. I’ve been playing sports since I was a kid, in High School training and competing in Martial Arts. When I began college I became more serious about lifting weights, circuit training and running. I love exercise in its purest and most fun form, whether that be lifting weights, running, biking, hiking, golf or ping pong.

Currently, I instruct Strength, Cardio Kickboxing, Boot Camps and Core Strength classes. I am also a certifed Personal Trainer. My training variety consists of: strength, endurance, agility, fexibility, sports specificity, as well as functional strength training for the everyday. My certifcations include ACSM and AFAA. I personally enjoy running, biking, swimming, lifting weights, hiking, rock climbing and almost anything that gets my heart rate up.

I have a Bachelors degree from Corban University, with an interdisciplinary studies degree in Exercise Science and Psychology. I am enthusiastic, positive and extremely motivating. My goal is to make exercise an enjoyable experience while getting every possible beneft. I believe exercise has benefits that far exceed the eye and will remind clients of this fact continuously.

I have been involved in Fitness & Wellness for over 30 years! My love of physical exercise started at the age of 14 when my brother, Edwin, introduced me to running. In college, I became an Aerobics Instructor and Personal Trainer. In 1991, I moved to Oregon and began a 3-year program at the Oregon School of Massage. After getting licensed, I worked for a Sports Medicine & Chiropractic Physician in Portland. Here I learned a wealth of information about nutrition, the body & mind connection and general body mechanics and worked with professional and amateur athletes from Nike and George Fox University.

Currently, I am a Strength, Cycle & Pilates Instructor as well as a student of Yoga, Pro-Active Postural Restructuring and the Power of Positive Living. I enjoy working with clients, solo or in groups on restructuring their posture and balance, creating healthy active lifestyles and losing weight.

My own fitness interests are running in 5 & 10k’s, Sprint Triathlons and chasing after my 2 kids! I am currently a Group Fitness Instructor and Licensed Personal Trainer at the Kroc Center. And I am involved with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation in the Silverton Schools.

Most of my life I have been involved in athletics. I believe movement can be a medicine in all aspects of life. In High School, I was fortunate to be an All-State performer and 3-time OSAA State Champion in basketball and football. Athletics allowed me to be a collegiate athlete at Western Oregon University where I am currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. My education and athletic experiences have taught me multiple styles of training and various methods of teaching and coaching, which I incorporate into my programs with my clients. I focus on athletic movements to challenge the body, including dynamic exercises, footwork and coordination drills, and core strength and stability.

As an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, my wide range of knowledge in the field of exercise science will give you a health and fitness “edge” when undertaking a training regime. I am a fun, high-energy individual who will motivate you and inspire you to accomplish your goals. Currently I am interested in working with clients both new to exercise, as well as those looking to advance their current fitness level by taking advantage of what I have to offer. I believe adherence to a physically active lifestyle will bring many positive benefits, along with a higher quality of life. Along with personal training, I also run the Boot Camp program at the Kroc, which is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:00 AM or 5:15 PM. Let me help you get started today!

Hey I’m Andrew Lehti and I am a personal trainer at the Kroc Center. I have been around the fitness industry and working out since I was 10 years old. As a child I was always the “ heavy kid”, so my parents got me involved with a gym and weight lifting and I have been in love with it ever since. In high school I was involved in football, boxing, wrestling, track, hockey and weight lifting, which it instilled a “work hard, get results” attitude. With this attitude I try and help everyone to believe in themselves and accomplish their goals through hard work.

Currently I am a certified personal trainer here at the Kroc Center. I have also worked extensively with teenagers who are involved with football and mixed martial arts as their strength and conditioning coach. My Certifications are from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. My styles of training are based on what I have personally done in the areas of weight loss and muscle gain. Also I have been involved heavily with mixed martial arts which is both anaerobic and aerobic in nature, and have brought that aspect of training into my workout regimens. I personally enjoy MMA, weight lifting, hiking, wrestling, boxing, and being active every day.
