Small Groups
God’s word clearly instructs believers to fellowship together, to study His word and to hold each other accountable. After asking Jesus into your heart, the next step is to learn how to live as a Christian. This is learned by spending time in God’s word and with other believers. Please look over this list of small groups and choose one (or more) that works for you.
Monday 7:00 p.m. “Genesis” Discover God and His love for humanity through this study of the first book of the bible. All are welcome. Leader: Jim Horgen. (503)364-8520 Kingwood West (West Salem)
Monday 1:30 p.m. “Romans: The Christian Story.” Study the foundation of Christian theology in Paul’s writings to the Romans. Women’s group. Leader: Patty Bonesteel (503)971-388-6839. The Fellowship Center.
Tuesday 8:30 a.m. Men’s Prayer Group in Fellowship Center. Men, come together to pray for the needs of our corps families and programs.
Tuesday 1:00 p.m. “Telling Yourself the Truth.” This study is based on a book by William Backus and Marie Chapian. Ladies, we will learn to identify misbeliefs that lead to depression, anger, anxiety, and other problems. We will learn the Christian approach to overcoming these and finding a life of joy and confidence. Leader: Envoy Kathy Fellowship Ctr.
Wednesday 11:00 a.m. “Philippians.” Paul wrote this letter to the Philippians while he was in prison, encouraging believers to live a life of joy in uncertain times. Men’s group. Leader: Envoy Dan in Fellowship Ctr.
Wednesday 7:00 p.m. “Inside Out Living: What Jesus Has to Say about a Better Life.” This is a Rick Warren series in which we will learn more about applying Biblical principals to our daily lives. All are welcome. Leaders: Dan and Kathy Reichman. Fellowship Center

Thursday 10:30 a.m. “Women of the Bible.” This study will introduce a new woman each week with background information, Bible promises, and prayer. Leader: Brenda Ellison (503)881-2393. Women’s group. Fellowship Center.
Thursday 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Come join us in corporate prayer for our corps, community, and world. All are welcome. Fellowship Center.
Thursday 6:00 p.m. “Destino de lo Divino,” Gospel according to John en espanol, led by Jose Ontiveros in our computer lab. (503)798-4808
Friday 6:30 p.m. “Life’s Healing Choices.” This course by Rick Warren will help provide a way of surviving life’s hurts, hang-ups and habits through a study of the Eight Beatitudes. Leaders: Larry and Judith Odle. 4820 Verda Ln. N, in Keizer. (503)393-3812
Saturday 10:30 a.m. “Doing Justice, Showing Mercy.” This study of the scriptures will show you how to put your belief into action. This study will meet in the community room at Sunset Village Mobile Home Park at 4915 Swegle Rd. NE. All are welcome. Leader: Florence Robb (503)798-4807.
